Jorge Bahena

Born in Cuernavaca, Mexico. He has lived in San Francisco Bay Area for the last 15 years; he loves to visit museums, galleries and different forums of art, music and other expressions of folk and modern art.

He is interested in creating sculptures using natural materials combined with glass, dried flowers, stones, and unusual materials; also like to create hand-painted
frames with unique mixed media images or designs, with influence from modern art like Dali, Miro, Alphonse Muccha to traditional cult folk art inspired in Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera.
